And so it begins

We closed on our little beauty a few days earlier than expected, which turned out great because it gave us the whole Memorial Day weekend to start on our demo. A week later we.....took out a wall, the kitchen cabinets, the soffit above the old icky cabinets, took up the floor in the utility room and took out an icky jimmy rigged closet, tore out the smelly carpet in 2 rooms AND planted raspberries (thanks to my mom for bringing 24 stocks some new cane and some that may even give us a few berries this summer!!! and they will be ALL MINE! all the way from UT in her car with her little tiller), tomatoes and cucumbers, primed 3 rooms, painted 2 rooms, and laid floor in the utility room *PHEW* (was that a run on sentence??? cause I feel out of breath!)

Carpet guys are coming on Wed to lay the new carpets (total surprise, since I wasn't expecting our carpet to get in for another week), so from now till then, I have 3 more rooms to paint. I hate painting.
